Managing and Leading in Different Cultures

7 - 12 April 2019

The Intensive Programme 2019 of Erasmus+ Prominence will be hold in Aschaffenburg (2019).

The aims of the Intensive Programme are:

  • to identify the process of team-building by harmonizing diverse views
  • to provide hands-on experience on different concepts of status,
  • leadership and organizations in a cross-cultural perspective
  • to learn to apply selected approaches of culture and practice
  • negotiations and decision-making skills processes
  • to transfer work-related transversal capabilities gained through
  • real-life scenarios and experience


Activities will combine input sessions by lectures and experts and project-work, case studies, role plays and business simulation games with a focus of cross-cultural teambuilding and the development of e-content in the framework of the EU project PROMINENCE.


If you are a student studying at one of Erasmus+ PROMINENCE Partner universities you are welcome to apply: 

  • get in contact with your International Office at home university for application
  • your International Office will nominate the PROMINENCE- IP scholarship students to us
  • your personal data of students registration form needs to be sent by 15 January 2019 to us.

Students selected from their home university for PROMINENCE Intensive Period will not pay any programme or tuition fees, but also receive a scholarship within the programme.

Within the scholarship accommodation and a part of daily subsistence (breakfast, lunch) will be covered. Also nominated students will receive a financial grant for travelling costs to Aschaffenburg UAS. Accomodation will be in 3- and 4- bed rooms are reserved in the hotel next to our campus (hotel Olive Inn) for students.

Aschaffenburg UAS

Our beautiful campus is within walking distance of the city centre (10
min) and there is a regular bus connecting the train station with our
campus. Aschaffenburg can be easily and directly reached from Frankfurt
airport and Frankfurt main station (approx. 30 min, direct train); the
airport Frankfurt Hahn (budget airlines) can also be reached via bus/train (1.5 h)
