Innovative Material Processing: Material processing with innovative, resource-saving technologies

Application areas of the projects in the research topic Innovative Material Processing are new materials for 3D printing, innovative technologies and methods of additive manufacturing, applied photonics, for example laser-induced nanostructuring and laser material processing.

New ways of surface coating make it possible to optimise the use of X-ray mirror telescopes and an adaptation of sintering technologies creates new possibilities for the production of thermostable materials.
