Programme content

You learn everything you need to know to succeed in a management job in an international setting. Within three semesters, you will expand your knowledge to a new level and finish with the Master's thesis. We offer you a broadly diversified education that covers specific topics of international management as well as human resource management, marketing, law and trade relations - of course always with an international focus. And in addition to the compulsory courses, you can choose between numerous elective specialisations - according to your personal preferences. We care about your intercultural competence, and that is exactly why this Master's programme offers many opportunities to look beyond only studying: whether it’s a semester abroad or interesting encounters during the international summer schools in Finland and the USA. But you can also do an internship abroad. Another plus point: The entire programme is taught in English. In this way, you will be ideally prepared for your job in an international company.

Being competent to act in the areas of leadership and management in an international context - this is what we focus on. You deepen your subject knowledge and learn to reflect critically on the material. And you will learn to apply what you have learned in practice. For example, the intercultural projects of the Summer Schools or your internship abroadare suitable for this.

Requirements for the Master's programme

You already have a successful Bachelor's degree in economics and law, business administration, economics or related subjects under your belt and are interested in leadership and management in an international context? Then the Master's programme in International Management at the Aschaffenburg UAS is just the thing for you.

Admission requirements for this Master's programme:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree with an overall grade of 2.5 or better or are demonstrably among the top 50% of graduates in your degree programme.
  • You should have 210 ECTS in your Bachelor's degree. If you have achieved fewer than 210 ECTS in your Bachelor's degree, you can still start with us: We offer you the opportunity to make up the missing ECTS from our Bachelor's programme of the faculty that matches your subject. We recommend the appropriate modules for your admission. During your Master's programme, you have enough time to complete these additional modules.
  • You also need to demonstrate language skills in English (at least B2) and German (at least A1). You can find out which certificates are valid and what you need as on our page Application.

Opportunities for gaining experience abroad

In consultation with the International Office, we set up a curriculum which, if possible, can be fully credited to the courses at the Aschaffenburg UAS.

  • Two degrees at the same time!

If you choose to study at our partner university in Seinäjoki, Finland, the credits you earn can also be used towards a double degree. This way you kill two birds with one stone: You will deepen your intercultural skills and complete your studies with two degrees.
