To be able to provide the essential support our visiting students need – for example, by offering a room in our student dormitories, by ensuring places in our courses, and by advising students on administrative issues – we are unable to accept applications from freemovers for Winter Semester. Only in this way can we ensure that all of our international students benefit from their stay at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences.
The application deadline for Summer Semester is 1 December. Before submitting an application, freemovers are asked to contact the Incoming Team directly. Students are expected to choose courses amounting to at least 15 ECTS credits per semester in order to ensure a meaningful academic study programme during their stay at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences.
Due to the high number of applications, we are currently able to accept a maximum of three students from the same university. In order to enrich the international and intercultural learning environment at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences, priority may be given to students with German language skills or to students enrolled in degree programmes that offer new perspectives for our own students.
We also welcome individual motivation letters that clearly reflect the applicant’s personal interest, academic background, and reasons for choosing Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences. Applicants are encouraged to submit a motivation letter written in their own words. Applications that do not fall under the above criteria will be considered on the basis of the applicant’s English language level and the order in which the application was received.
