Material Testing and Sensor Technology

Professorin und Mitarbeiter im BioMems Lab der TH Aschaffenburg.

New applications for materials and sensors

In the field of Material Testing and Sensor Technology, scientists at Aschaffenburg UAS are developing new materials for intelligent sensors to monitor manufacturing processes as well as sensors to detect materials for efficient recycling. This includes extensive examinations of the characteristics and response of materials under various conditions as well as suitability tests for innovative applications in the use of the sensors. Possible fields of application are analyses of the conduction behaviour of semiconductors and superconductors, and thermoplasticity of ceramics and coatings.
