  • Blended Intensive Programmes

    Campus of the future 24 – 28 September 2022 on site

    In the intensive workshop (PLV) “Campus of the Future” we will be exploring as how to combine circular ecomomy principles, design thinking and systems thinking in order to foster new ideas and solutions that re-imagine a university campus as ecologically sustainable highly liveable and resilient ecosystem.

    This intensive international programme held in English seeks to address in particular bachelor students interested in the topic of sustainability and building the campus of the future while being passionate about making friends from different places in Europe and beyond when collaborating in international student teams.

    There will be a preparatory and a post-assignment online. The Blended Intensive Programme “Your campus of the future” is supported by funds for the new ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs). It will be conducted and seeks to make a contribution to the Green Deal of the EU and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)s.

    Global Master School 2022

    Jumping the Pond: How can an American Brand Succeed in Europe?

    Receive Graduate Credit while working on a real business case
    with students from around the globe.


    This course is part of a three-university partnership. University of Missouri, St Louis, the
    School of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg, Germany and the School
    of Applied Sciences in Seinajoki, Finland have created this unique
    graduate offering. Students and faculty from all three universities will
    gather at UMSL to explore and develop a global strategy for flipstik.
    There is a program fee of $1600 for students from THAB, SeAMK and
    their partners. This fee covers lodging, breakfast and lunch on all
    course meeting days, an opening reception/dinner, a closing
    ceremony with dinner, and several social events.

    Join THAB, SeAMK and UMSL students in St. Louis, MO to develop a
    global marketing and distribution strategy for flipstik.

    This exciting consumer product has been featured on Shark Tank, is
    in retail stores across the US, and has Internet sales world-wide.
    Flipstik received a $50,000 UMSL DEI Accelerator Award.
    In global teams, you will analyze current trends in international
    consumer products, create a global positioning strategy, study prior
    successful products launches, analyze distribution networks and
    pursue partnership opportunities to enter the European Market.
    Your solutions will be presented to the
    leadership team at flipstik.

    The course will include lectures, company visits and social activities.

  • Sprachen lernen

    Sprachenzentrum - Sprachen im Zentrum

    Das Sprachenzentrum ist eine zentrale Einrichtung der TH Aschaffenburg, deren Hauptaufgabe in der Entwicklung und dem Einsatz sprachdidaktischer Methoden für eine fundierte Sprachausbildung besteht, die an der gesamten Hochschule besonderes Gewicht hat und Teil der Internationalisierungsstrategie ist.


    Studierende beider Fakultäten können im Pflichtbereich je nach Studiengang folgende Sprachkenntnisse erweitern bzw. neu erwerben:

    Fakultät Wirtschaft und Recht: Fakultät Ingenieurwissenschaften:
    - Immobilienenglisch (GER-Niveau B2) - Wirtschaftsenglisch (GER-Niveau B2)
    - Rechtsenglisch (GER-Niveau B2) - Technisches Englisch (GER-Niveau B2)
    - Wirtschaftsenglisch (GER-Niveau B2) - Französisch (nur für ITV, GER-Niveau A1)
    - Wirtschafsfranzösisch (GER-Niveau A1) - Spanisch (nur für ITV, GER-Niveau A1)
    - Wirtschaftsspanisch (GER-Niveau A1)


    Im Wahl(pflicht)bereich werden darüber hinaus Sprachkurse in folgenden modernen Fremdsprachen angeboten:

    - Chinesisch I-II
    - Deutsch als Fremdsprache I-IV (nur für Austauschstudierende)
    - English for Business Travel and Tourism
    - Französisch I-IV
    - Italienisch I-II
    - Japanisch I-II
    - Spanisch I-IV
    - Russisch I-II
    - Vorbereitungskurs für das Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) Higher

    Im Wahl(pflicht)bereich kann außerdem jedes Sommersemester das AWPM "Destination Nord" mit einer Einführung in die finnische und schwedische Sprache belegt werden.
