Meine fachlichen Schwerpunkte liegen in der Bioinformatik, Biophysik und Medizintechnik. Das Ziel meiner Forschung ist die Gewinnung neuer Erkenntnisse zur Entwicklung präziserer Diagnose- und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten. Die astrobiologischen Studien zur Entstehung von Leben in extremen Umgebungen ergänzen meine Forschungserfahrung.
