Four countries, four universities, one intercultural learning experience: this Europe-wide networked Master’s programme provides targeted preparation for international careers. Applications for the next intake are now open.

The TH Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences joined its partner institutions in celebrating a major milestone: the graduation of MERCURI (European Master in Customer Relationship Marketing) Cohort 4 in Valencia mid March. As one of the four degree-awarding universities in this European master’s programme, TH Aschaffenburg was delighted to join in honouring the achievements of its graduates while simultaneously welcoming the next generation of students and alumni.

The graduation ceremony was held back-to-back with an intercultural seminar, bringing together students from Cohorts 5 and 6, alumni, and professors from across the MERCURI consortium. This unique format reflects the spirit of the programme: a dynamic, international learning environment that fosters lifelong connections between participants at different stages of their academic and professional journeys.

A Genuine European Academic Experience

What makes the MERCURI Master’s programme  stand out is its  integrated intercultural pathway across four countries. Students accepted to this programme study one semester each in one of the four participating countries: Poland, France, Italy (as of 2025), Germany and Spain.

Students do not simply study abroad – they live and learn within multiple cultural, academic, and business environments. Each semester is spent at a different partner university, allowing participants to experience diverse teaching styles, business practices, and cultural perspectives firsthand.

This programme is a carefully designed intercultural journey. It equips graduates with advanced international management competencies, strong intercultural communication and (foreign) language skills, an international professional network spanning multiple countries and the adaptability required and further strengthened in the programme for global careers.

By the time they graduate, MERCURI students have developed not only academic expertise but also the mindset and agility needed to succeed and thrive in international contexts.

Students, alumni, and faculty engaged in workshops, discussions, and collaborative allowing students to benefit from alumni insights and career experiences and alumni to stay connected to the academic community. This continuous exchange is a defining feature of MERCURI.

Apply now and join the next MERCURI cohort

Applications are now open for the next intake starting in September. Prospective students who are looking for a truly international master’s programme with strong intercultural focus are encouraged to apply.

To support applicants, the MERCURI consortium is offering several online information webinars as of this months. These sessions will allow interested candidates to learn more about the programme structure and mobility path and ask questions directly to the MA programme representatives of all participating universities. The webinars provide a good opportunity for potential applicants to discover how MERCURI can shape their international career.  For full details on the programme, application requirements and upcoming webinars, please visit the official MERCURI website.
